Contemporary Worship
We are a diverse group of students with different spiritual backgrounds. We celebrate the good qualities of each other’s path of faith and try to live the positive lesions each of them teach and our challenge is to cherish the best they have to offer, and to create more harmony and understanding in the world through our understanding of each other.
Wednesday Night Gatherings - Food for Body & Soul
We meet at the PRISM House every Wednesday, except for the weeks when we have a special event, like our Movie & Discussion Night, which is held at the Senior Dedication Lounge in the UMC.
Our worship time is very contemporary and in a casual atmosphere. We gather at around 6:00pm and enjoy a free home cocked dinner provided every week by one of our wonderful supporting church. Our program follows, which takes a range of forms, from topical discussion, guided meditation or activism projects to UU and Christian worship. At 8:00pm we share joys and concerns at our closing circle. Those who have time to stay and socialize are welcome to visit after the closing.
